Dessert is one of those things that unites us. It’s served at weddings, celebrations, showers, birthdays, at the end of a fancy dinner, or just because we survived a Tuesday.
I founded Ruby’s Bakehouse in 2013, after discovering my love of baking. I started with German Chocolate cake, moved to cupcakes, expanded my skills with decorated cookies, and now like to try my hand at even fancier and more complicated recipes.
I live in Indianapolis with my 2 dogs - Wanda and Raven - and when I’m not working my day job, you’ll often find me in the kitchen testing recipes or dreaming of new dessert ideas and flavors. I’m also a foster parent!
